Michael Manely

My name is Michael Manely. (Pronounced Ma-neely). My goal is to work with you to deliver the most favorable legal outcome possible. I’ve practiced law for over 18 years, and handled over 1,100 cases. I am admitted to practice in all Georgia courts and federal courts in the Northern and Middle District of Georgia, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and The United States Supreme Court. I’ve built a progressive practice and a reputation for winning difficult and controversial, high-profile cases. I’ve successfully represented hundreds of mothers and fathers in state, federal and international divorce, custody and child support cases.

My professional affiliations include the State of Georgia Bar Association Family Law Section and Environmental Law Section, the Cobb County Bar Association, the Marietta Business Association. I organized the Cobb County branch of the Georgia State University College of Law Alumni Association. I am past president of the GSU College of Law Alumni Society.

I graduated from Georgia State University College of Law in 1989 in the top 25% of my class. I was the president of the Student Bar Association, Lead Counsel of YLS Georgia Championship Mock Trial Teams, and named Outstanding Student Litigator by the American Board of Trial Advocacy.

Stephanie Steele

My name is Stephanie Steele and I hold a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, Athens, Georgia and a B.A. in Psychology from Mercer University, Macon, Georgia. In addition to practicing law at The Manely Firm, P.C., my experience includes over five years as a law clerk in other private law firms, a judicial clerkship, and two years as an administrative assistant in a Macon law firm. I speak French and German.

My professional affiliations include the State of Georgia Bar Association and the Cobb County Bar Association Young Lawyers and Family Law Sections.
